John C. Golaszewski, 75, of Brazoria entered peacefully his place of eternally healing on August 26, 2024 with his wife by his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He proudly served for 20 year in the military, first with the U.S. Marine Corps, followed by service in the U.S. Army. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He loved to stay busy and worked until he was 72. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf and after retirement he enjoyed making bird feeders and tables. And he always made sure to tend to the vegetable garden and till it, so that his wife could have everything she needed to make sweet pickles and salsa.
John is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharon Golaszewski, and his daughter Kayla Golaszewski. He is preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Joan Golaszewski.
John will be laid to rest with full U.S. Marine Corps honors at the Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 with a graveside service precisely at 12:45.
