John Andrew Grzybowski

John Andrew Grzybowski, aged 65 of Sparta, Michigan, was called home to his Lord on Friday, January 5, 2024.
John was preceded in death by his father, Walter Grzybowski Jr.; mother Bertha (Sikkema) Grzybowski; niece Emily Lynn Grzybowski; nephews Nicholas Jon Grzybowski, Daniel Christopher Leichty and Michael Benjamin Volpe; and brother-in-law Dan Coxon.
John is survived by his siblings Walter II (Linda) Grzybowski, Gordon (Nancy) Grzybowski, Nancy (Michael) Volpe, Susan (Stephen) Leichty, Evelyn Coxon, Chris (Denise) Grzybowski, and Henry (Sally) Grzybowski; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
John was a graduate of Sparta Senior High School, class of 1976, and attended Calvin College. John worked in a variety of positions at Meijer Corporate Office and Spartan Stores. He was a long-standing member of the Comstock Park Christian Reformed Church and as of late, a member of the Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Sparta, MI. John fought a long battle with diabetes and kidney disease. John was a 'great' uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was a centerpiece to the family and family historian. In his later years, he enjoyed raising chickens, baking, sitting in nature, and taking road trips.
A Celebration of John's life will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 660 S. State Street, Sparta, MI 49345. Visitation will be from 2:00p-3:00p, Funeral service at 3:00p and a light meal following the service at 4:00pm.
