John Paul Haddock, 40, from Somonauk, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. He was born April 28, 1984, in Aurora, IL, the son of John M. and Joy A. (Kaiser) Haddock. John was a member of the Local 68. He was a jack of many trades including carpenter, cook, truck driver, and musician. Music was his passion. He loved performing. He was a member of many bands and wore many hats: drummer, guitarist, bass player, and vocalist. John was also an artist and writer; his talent knew no bounds. He was an incredible cook and baker-- perfect down to the littlest details. His smile would light up a room, and his laughter would fill your heart.
He is survived by his parents, sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, and many friends. He was also survived by his son John Paul Jr. and daughter Vivian Linda Lucille, who were the light of his life, and their mother. If you ask anyone, they will tell you that he was a great dad who loved his kids more than anything in this world.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, who loved him dearly.
John was laid to rest privately at Oak Mound Cemetery in Somonauk. For more information or to share stories about John go to, www.EighnerFuneralHomes.com
