John Byron Haisty, II, born on June 8, 1972 in West Monroe, Louisiana, graced this world with his presence for 53 years before passing away on October 9, 2025. He was a beacon of laughter and joy, a generous spirit, and a man of courage and resilience. A resident of Sumner, Washington for the last 22 years, John brought a touch of southern charm to those around him.

John was known for his charm, humor, and kind heart. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping and fishing and would chase his competitive spirit by playing games or knocking down pins at the bowling alley with good friends. He brought life to every party, leaving good memories behind at every opportunity. His laugh could be heard from miles away, and he always strived to have others laughing with him. John worked as a maintenance painter for the public schools, serving his community with a steadfast dedication.

John's compassion and generosity were legendary. He was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would help. Above all, he cherished his relationships with his friends and family, valuing the peace and happiness that they brought into his life. Those close to him always felt protected and safe.

He was a cherished brother to Tim, Donna, Garry and Terri, and a treasured uncle to Josh, Lindi, A.J. and Aiden. John was preceded in death by his parents, Donny and Eula, and his brother, Garry.

John was incredibly easy to love and to have him in your life was a blessing of its own.

As we remember John, we encourage friends and family to share their memories, upload photos, and celebrate his life on his memorial page. His life was a testament to the power of joy, the strength of resilience, and the beauty of a generous heart.
