Marie Johnson

Frances Marie Johnson was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, mother, and grandmother, as well as a pillar of the Muckleshoot community. She is proceeding in death with her parents, Flora Pacheco and Clarence Barr, and her children, Randy Johnson, Sandra Johnson, and Diane Johnson.

Frances carried a deep passion for education and community, always striving to inspire and uplift those around her. She loved going shopping, getting her nails done, and trips to the ocean brought her great joy. She cherished the simple pleasures of life alongside family time, sharing meals, and being actively involved in community events that nurtured both learning and cultural pride.

She dedicated many years to the Auburn School District and served with great honor on the school board for the Muckleshoot Tribal School. As a language caretaker for the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, she worked tirelessly to ensure that the rich heritage of her people would live on through the generations. Long before the student incentive program was created, Frances often bought school clothing and supplies for children in the community, showing how much she cared for the youth and valued the importance of education.

Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering commitment were a guiding light to the youth and community alike. Frances's spirit of kindness and dedication leaves a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
