John G. Hald, 63 of Williamsville, NY, formally of Lyndonville, NY, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Buffalo General Hospital.

Born on July 8, 1963, in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late William and Betty (Gruesendorf) Hald. J

ohn was employed at the ARC Workshop in Albion, NY, and also volunteered for the Lyndonville and Barker Fire Companies, where he was known for his friendly demeanor and excellent cooking. In his spare time, he enjoyed adult coloring books and was an avid NASCAR fan, collecting NASCAR die-cast cars.

John is survived by his siblings, Cynthia Dubois of Medina, NY, Bill Hald of Niagara Falls, NY, Emily Ivett of Gowanda, NY, and Paul Hald of Niagara Falls, NY. Also, two nephews, Mike (Jennifer Tabor) Grandin of Medina, NY, and Jason Hanahan of Niagara Falls, NY.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by two aunts, Donna Lord and an uncle, Bob Hald.

Relatives and friends may call from 1PM- 3PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM. Burial will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John's name to the Lyndonville Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 150, Lyndonville, NY 14098.
