John Harris Obituary
John lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication. Known for his sense of humor and mischievous pranks, he brought joy to everyone around him. He cherished time spent with his family, found peace in gardening, and in cooking meals that brought people together. He was also the proud owner of Harris Grocery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Millie Harris; his son, Rodney Harris; and one granddaughter, Sophia Harris.
Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, April Harris, and his sister, Barbara Jay.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M.-2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Daniel Moss. Burial will take place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
