John "Jack" Charles Hatley, 87, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was born on Saturday, December 26, 1936 to the late Charles J. and Elizabeth (Shaw) Hatley. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Stevens) Hatley.
John was a proud Army Veteran and member of the Mt. Lebanon Lodge, #226. More than anything he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Sheryl Allston and husband Mark, Brian Hatley and Lisa M. Price; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 nieces; and sister-in-law, Marion Grochowski.
A committal service with full military honors will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003, with Pastor Deborah Valiton-Carnish officiating.
The family would like to thank Masonic Village Health Care Unit Washington 4 and Masonic Village Hospice personnel for all the wonderful care given to John.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown, PA 17022 or to Masonic Village, Hospice, 98 Masonic Drive suite 101, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
