John Henry Anthony Obituary
John Henry Anthony, age 65, of Hays, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at HaysMed. He was born February 28, 1959, in Grants, New Mexico to Miles “Jack” Anthony and Doris (Merwin) Anthony.
John grew up in Victoria, Russell and Gorham. He attended school in Victoria, graduated from Gorham High School, and moved from Wichita to Hays in 2024. He loved spending time with his family, and was also an avid Chiefs fan.
Survivors include his children, John Miles Anthony, Wichita, KS; Jeffrey Anthony and wife, Sheena, Russell, KS; Jackie Anthony, Hays, KS; his grandchildren, Ashton Coultis; Jayden Coultis; Alexa Coultis; Kaitlyn Coultis; Jacob Anthony; Kendra Anthony; Dakota Anthony; and Bryson Anthony.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Doris Anthony and his brother, Jim Anthony.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and a private family inurnment.
The family suggests memorials made payable to: Hays Medical Center Foundation for Pulmonary Department in care of Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays.
Services are entrusted to Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
