John M. Herard

John M. Herard, 59, lifelong Auburn resident, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Thursday, May 1, 2025, with his loving family by his side.
He leaves his parents: Kathleen M. (Champagne) Herard and her partner Tom Boyden, of Leominster, and John E. Herard and his wife Kristina, of North Oxford; his beloved brothers, Steven J. Herard and his wife Karen, and Michael J. Herard and his wife Kara, all of Auburn; and his cherished nephew, Joseph Herard, of Auburn.
John was born in Worcester and was raised and educated in Auburn. He had a longtime career at NewCorr Packaging in Northborough and was a proud Machine Equipment Operator. John had a great work ethic, loved his co-workers and was always a dependable employee.
John had a natural storytelling ability and could make anyone laugh with his sense of humor. He loved old classic music especially the Beatles and Sinatra, as John "Always did it his way." John was an animal lover and had many dogs over his lifetime. He leaves behind his loyal dog Champ, who was his best buddy.
To honor John's love of dogs, please consider making a memorial donation to a local animal shelter or charity – flowers are also welcomed, if preferred.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the Herard family at 11 AM on Wednesday May 7th in the St. Christopher Section of Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street, Worcester.
