John Higgins Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 31, 2006.
I am going to mention everything here that was never brought up at your funeral. You see my friends only 10 years was mentioned at the funeral. No mention of my mother and father's marriage of 45 years, no mention of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. My father was my rock. I admit I was a spoiled brat and Butch would agree with that, but both of us turned out ok. We will never forget how we would park cars behind the house for 50 cents a car during University of Dayton games. We would park the cars in so tight that we would have to turn the light out on the house because many cars we parked first had to wait until all the other left. You would play football and hide and seek. You taught us all the card games and took our money in poker. You and mom had a your ups and down but 45 years is a milestone. You took good care of her when she was sick. You always took care of me when I was sick and you took us on vacations to places we will never forget. You are truly missed.
