John Lee Jarreau of Greenwell Springs, LA, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026 at the age of 70. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA, to Joseph and Bernice Jarreau of Baton Rouge, LA. He had a strong passion for music and playing the drums and was an avid coin collector. He will be remembered for his generosity and compassion towards his friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his daughters Mary Webb and Joanna Cravens of Bossier City, LA; spiritually adopted daughter Jacqueline "Nikki" Dilley Britt of Baton Rouge, LA; son-in-law Gregory Cravens of Bossier City, LA; grandsons Grayson and Lucas Cravens of Bossier City, LA; sisters Sandra Harvey and Janet Jarreau of Baton Rouge, LA; brother-in-law Tommy Jarreau of Baton Rouge, LA; and many nieces and nephews.
He will be buried in Greenoaks Memorial Park sharing a grave with his parents Joseph and Bernice Jarreau as requested by his mother before her passing.
