John David Jensen passed away April 19, 2023. He was called home to God after a long battle with cancer. John was born February 25, 1956 in South Bend Indiana but spent most of his life here in Paw Paw. He was a 1974 graduate of Paw Paw High School. As a lifelong outdoorsman he loved too fish and hunt since childhood. His family would never know what he would be bringing home next! Once as a teenager he made the local news paper for two of the largest bluegills caught in Lake Brownwood. John loved Nascar Racing and spent time every year camping out at the races with family and friends. One year he entered the Demolition Derby with an old junker. He didn't get to far with that.
John is survived by his Mother Kathryn Jensen and his children: His two daughters Kelly and Lydia Jensen, his sons Phillip Stickels (Lacey), Xander Mead, and his twins son Remington and daughter Kendall Mead.
Forever remembered by his three sisters Wendy Dorabialski (Scott), Pam Rowe (Jerry) Amy Jensen
(Garth Killeen).
John will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends as well.
He was preceded in death by his Father Robert W. Jensen, a brother Robert J. Jensen and a sister Linda Jensen.
A private graveside service will take place at Wildey Cemetery with a Celebration of Life at his home.
