John Joseph Justesen passed away at home on December 8th, 2025. He was born on September 14th, 1976, in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Alan Morris Justesen and Bessie Patricia Wilson Justesen. He married Lisa Blazzard on December 30th, 1999, in the Saint George, Utah temple.
John was raised in Gillette, Wyoming where he graduated from Campbell County High School. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Johannesburg, South Africa. He attended and graduated from the University of Utah, where he met his soulmate, Lisa Blazzard. The couple moved to Southern Utah and started their family, where he lived out his best role in life: being a dad. His favorite time of life was when he could hold all his children in his arms. He loved to take his family on adventures such as road trips, hiking, visiting national parks, camping, and most importantly, fishing. In his professional life, he was an escrow officer for 21 years at Southern Utah Title Company, where he had many friends and close colleagues. There were many things he loved: apples, chocolate, the color blue, a full moon, cactus in bloom, Lamy's nachos, but the thing he loved most was always and foremost his wife, Lisa. Their love was and is a fairytale. He spoke softly, loved fiercely, and will be remembered fondly.
He is survived by his darling wife, Lisa, in their forever home here in Saint George with their children, Grace Lamb (George), Rachel, Abbie, and Jack. His father, Alan Justesen; his siblings, Julie Jorgensen, Steve Justesen, Jennifer Haney, and Joanna Sutton. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Justesen.
