John R. Kadaraitis, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Johnstown, NY, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Born on February 27, 1942, in Gloversville, NY, he was the son of the late John C. Kadaraitis and Virginia (Otto) Duesler.
John was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He was the cherished husband of Barbara Lane, whom he married on July 3, 1976, who survives.
John is also survived by his children, John Kadaraitis Jr., Mark Lane, and Linda Brooker (John); sister Dian Hill; grandchildren, Katie, Keoni, April, and Ashley, as well as his great-grandchildren, Oakley and Jensen; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, John is predeceased by his son, John Hulsaver; his siblings, Art Kadaraitis, David Duesler.
John honorably served his country in the United States Army, a time during which he demonstrated his strong will and dedication. In his personal life, John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed the simple pleasures of hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and these moments became the most cherished of memories for his loved ones.
Interment will be held at a later date at Northbush Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
