On Saturday September 6, 2025 a great man lost his fight to cancer. With his children and partner by his side Donald Brockhum Jr passed away. Don was amazing man he instilled a hardworking work ethic into his four children that he leaves behind.
Don was born in Gloversville to the late Donald Brockhum Sr. and his mother Linda Brockhum on June 10, 1969 and lived with his partner Brenda for an amazing 37 years raising their four children Sarah, Kimberly, Justin and Kevin there.
Don was employed by Pioneer Window for 19 years at the time of his passing and his family would like to thank for their help in Don's passing. Along with the Mountain Valley Hospice who helped keep him comfortable in his finally hours.
As well as his children that he leaves behind Don also left his beloved grandchildren who where the light of Don's life Haydan and Annastasia. When Don was not at work he was found with his grandson off fishing and kayaking and enjoying the great outdoors together.
Don came from a big family which included 4 sisters Connie Brockhum, Brandy Brockhum,Billie McQueeney and Jennifer Shepard. He also had 4 brothers Tony Brockhum, Stan Brockhum, James Brockhum and his brother John who sadly passed away in September of last year.
Don's many friends and family can join us on Thursday September 11, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at AG Cole Funeral Home inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, for a viewing to say their finally goodbyes to a man that left a hole in the hearts of so many people with his passing.
There also will be a celebration of life at the Bleeker fish and game club, 1110 NY-309, Gloversville, NY 12078, on November 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
