John Philip Karch

November 28, 1954 until October 17, 2022



John Philip Karch, age 67, of Winslow died Monday, October 17, 2022 at the VA Medical Center located in Fayetteville AR. He was born November 28, 1954 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois the son of Mamie Agnes Rector and Philip Henry Karch.



He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed woodworking and spending quality time with his family, especially time with his grandchildren. He was a blaster for many years.



He was preceded in death by: his father, his mother, and one brother; Donnie Karch.



John is survived by: his wife; Karin L. Karch, whom he married April 6, 2013, five sons; Jason Karch, of Texas, Jackie Karch and his wife Lindsay, of Texas, Philip Karch and his wife Nikki, of Texas, Jordan Karch and his wife Kaylee, of Texas, William White and his wife Carrie, of Tennessee, two step-daughters; Sheila Weaver, of Illinois, Ashliegh Weaver, of Arkansas, one brother; Darrin Karch, of Louisiana, four sisters; Lois Bodine, of Louisiana, Karen Larimer, of Colorado, Meriella Mead, of Texas, Phyllis Kitchen, of Texas, one special nephew; Kevin Bodine and his wife Tami, of Winslow, one special niece; Tammy McMullen and special friend Ron, of Florida, his 16 grandchildren; Liberty, Soloman, Aurora, Glady, Leigh, Austin, Miles, Jaxon, Skylar, Colton, Dylan, Maks, Cierra, Kailee, Ayanna, Dalton, 2 great-grandchildren; Cillian, Braden, and the mother of his sons; Sharla Souther Karch.



A celebration of John's life will be at a later date in Texas. Memorials may be sent in Johnny's honor in care of his wife Karin.
