John Robert Kasprowicz, age 89, passed away on November 14th, 2025, at The Gardens at Monroe, located in Monroe, New Jersey.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ann Kasprowicz, who passed away on September 4th, 2024. John married Nancy Kasprowicz on March 22nd, 1991, and they resided in South River, New Jersey, for 33 years together.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy D. Ketchie and spouse Steven Ketchie, and grandchildren Heather Salter and spouse Stephen Salter and Lisa Condron and spouse Brian Condron. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren, Joey Deravin, Ashley Pidoto, Kayla Salter, Lily Condron, and Brian Condron, and his great-great grandson, Anthony Deravin Junior.
John, better known as "Bob," was a funny, warm, and loyal husband, father, and grandfather. He was known for his love of cars, motorcycles, western shows, and his favorite drink, Pepsi.
Bob and his wife, Nancy, enjoyed spending time together during road trips on their Honda Gold Wing motorcycle, and attending car shows with their friends.
Back in the day, Bob spent time driving race cars, and this passion led to his love for cars and car shows. He spent most of his time in his garage, with the various cars he loved, and would eventually take to display at car shows. He collected trophies from many of his wins, which he loved to give to all of his grandchildren. He knew exactly how to make each of his grandchildren feel special, giving many of them nick-names, and spending time making silly jokes with them.
He was born on November 17th, 1935, in Jersey City, New Jersey. Services will be held on what would have been his 90th birthday, November 17th, intending to be a celebration of his life for all of his loved ones.
Services are being held at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals and Cremation on November 17th, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
