Obituary of John P Lamaestra
John "Jack" P. Lamaestra July 29, 1955 – April 28, 2025
John "Jack" P. Lamaestra, 69, of Hampton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.
Born in Somerville, New Jersey on July 29, 1955, Jack was the beloved son of the late Pasquale Lamaestra and Jean Lamaestra (nee.Lore). He was a proud graduate of Bound Brook High School, Class of 1972, and went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career at AT&T and Lucent Technologies until retiring in 2001. Jack then went on to work several years at Salamander Marketing.
Jack had a deep love for life and cherished the time he spent traveling with his family. He found joy in music, hiking, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Above all, he had a true passion for cooking, often bringing people together around a delicious meal.
He is survived by his loving wife, Danielle, and their son, Joshua. Jack also leaves behind his sisters, Patti Marzi and her husband Gilles; Rosanne Kennedy and her husband, Skip; and Regina Hazlinger and her husband, John. He will be fondly remembered by his nephew, Patrick Marzi, and his niece, Genevieve Hazlinger.

A service celebrating Jack's life will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM at the Pavilion at Hampton Park, 16 Valley Road, Hampton, NJ 08827. Cremation was held privately.
