Obituary of Richard F. Aspinall

August 17, 1984 – August 24, 2025

Richard F. Aspinall, 41, of Oxford, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on August 24, 2025, after a long illness, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Hackettstown, NJ, on August 17, 1984, Richard was the beloved son of Jeanne Gebhart Aspinall and the late Floyd James Aspinall. He grew up in Warren County and graduated from Warren County Technical School, Class of 2002.

Richard found his calling as a heavy equipment operator, a career he dedicated himself to with pride and skill. He was a member of Local 825 and was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.

On May 17, 2014, Richard married the love of his life, Asia Marie (Calabrese) Aspinall. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. Richard was happiest when outdoors, whether working on cars and motorcycles, flying drones, or enjoying scooters, camping trips, and family adventures.

Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Asia; his loving mother, Jeanne; his dog Roxy; his sisters and brother-in-law; his three nephews and two nieces; and many cousins who adored him. He was predeceased by his father, Floyd.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 29th at 1:00PM at Montana Cemetery, located on Demeter Road in Harmony NJ. Please arrive a few minutes prior to the service. A Celebration of Life gathering will immediately follow at the Oxford Firehouse, located at 14 Wall Street, Oxford NJ 07863. To send condolences to the family please visit www.knolldevoefh.com.

Richard will be remembered for his big heart, adventurous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family, friends and his beloved dogs. His memory will live on in the laughter he inspired, the bonds he cherished, and the joy he brought to so many lives.
