John And Leah Boundy

John H. Boundy, age 87, passed away on October 26, 2017 and Leah F. Boundy, age 90, passed away on October 23, 2022 both at their residence in St. Charles, MO.
John was born on October 8, 1930 in Paulding, OH to the late Harold and Maxine (Peeper) Boundy. Leah was born on November 6, 1931 in Gary, IN to the late Leo and Martha (McDougal) Flint. John and Leah were married for 66 years before John's death in 2017.
John proudly served his country as an Air Force fighter pilot during the Korean War. Upon release from the Air Force, he graduated with honors from Tri-State University, as a mechanical engineer. He worked for North American Aviation and moved his family to St. Charles, MO. John had a distinguished 57 year career in aerospace with several patents to his name and he was licensed in both Ohio and Missouri. John retired from Boeing in 2015. John was a loyal member of St. Charles Christian Church and was also a 32nd degree Mason. He was an avid race car fan.
Leah spent her life creating a loving home for her family. Her favorite pastimes were gardening, crocheting, knitting, and reading. She was a lifetime member of the John Paulding Historical Society.
At the time of their passing, John and Leah were survived by their sons: Clay (Patti) Boundy, Paulding, OH; Kent (Darlene) Boundy, Defiance, OH; Jeffrey (Rose) Boundy of Goddard, KS; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; John's brother, Mitchell (Romaine) Boundy, Paulding; John's sister, Judith (Glen) Pryor, Dallas, TX; Leah's brothers, Dale Flint, New Haven, IN and Daniel (Laurie) Flint, Fort Wayne, IN.
John and Leah were preceded in death by their son, John H. "Jack" Boundy; daughter, Martha Kelly; three grandchildren; Leah's sisters, Betty Vogel and Joyce Jewel; Leah's brothers, Theodore Flint and Wilbur Flint; John's brother, Jerry Boundy.
In 2021, John's brother, Mitchell Boundy passed away and in 2023, their son, Kent Boundy passed away.
Memorial services for John and Leah will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Den Herder Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery, Paulding with military rites accorded by the Paulding V.F.W. Post 587.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
