John Rudolph Lindig, 82, of London, died Monday, February 12, 2024. John was born June 21, 1941, in Madison County, Ohio, the son of Nelson and Dorothy (Waples) Lindig.
John loved to go to tractor pulls, having been to Louisville on many occasions, and he loved bowling. He was a member of FOE Aerie #950, London, and the Madison Memorial Post #105, London. He enjoyed going to the casinos with his wife, Susie. He had been the Madison County Dog warden for several years before retiring in 2006.
John is survived by his wife of 18 years, Susie Kay Lindig; children, Cathy (Harry) White of Mount Sterling; Susie Lynn Boggs of Circleville; Randy (Mary Jane) Cutlip of Sedalia; Jennifer Bentley of Franklin; grandchildren, Aaron, Emily, Harper; daughter-in-law, Melissa Cutlip of London; brothers-in-law, John (Judy) Harper and Danny E. (Tonya) Harper, both of South Solon; numerous cousins. He has been predeceased by parents; son, Jason Cutlip.
John's family invites friends to call at the Lynch Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 124 E. High St, London, Friday, February 16, 2024, 11:00am until 1:00pm, with a funeral service to follow. An interment service will follow at the Paint Township Memorial Cemetery, London. Fiends may make memorial contributions in John's memory to the Madison County Humane Society, 2020 OH-142 NE, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162.
