John Alexander Lukaszek

John Alexander Lukaszek, age 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at home with family by his side in Mullica Hill, NJ. Born in Lutcza, Poland, John and his family emigrated to the United States in 1959, when he was six years old. After moving to America, John grew-up in New Jersey where he made lifelong friends. After getting his business management degree, John worked in IT management in banking and school systems. His proudest professional accomplishment was helping his brother establish Wafer Charging Monitors in Woodside, CA. John found his greatest joy in gardening, taking pride in making sure everyone had an abundant supply of fresh fruits and vegetables. When he wasn't tending his garden, John devoted his life to his best friend and wife, Leslee, cherishing their time together and traveling the world side by side. Above all else, John was a devoted father and a deeply proud grandfather. His love for his daughter was unwavering, and the joy he found in his grandson brought light and laughter to his days. He worked tirelessly to ensure they were always taken care of and loved. Those who were blessed to know John, knew of his big heart, quick wit, and generous soul.
John is survived by his loving wife, Leslee (nee Holvoet) Lukaszek; his daughter; Lara Costello and her husband Colin, of Arlington, VA, and grandson Benjamin. Also, by his brother Wieslaw Lukaszek and sister-in-law Tina, of Woodside, CA; and many loving members of the Holvoet family.
Predeceased by his parents, Antoni and Stefania (nee Noster) Lukaszek.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St. Mantua, NJ 08051. A time of sharing will be held at 11:00am led by family. Final disposition to be private.
