Voorhees, NJ
John E. McCaughrean passed away on April 27, 2022. He was 80 years old. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee: Dobson) McCaughrean. Loving father of Debra L. Bradshaw (late: Thomas) of Gibbsboro, John D. McCaughrean of Voorhees, and Trevor T. McCaughrean (late: Nancy) also of Voorhees.
John is survived by his brother Ronald McCaughrean (Margaret) of Gilbertsville and also brother to the late Mildred Joan Staas (Frederick). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Timothy, Kyle Bradshaw, Ryan Bradshaw, John A., and Regina, and 12 great grandchildren.
John was a trucker and Teamster (#676). John was also the founder of the Echelon Cab Company. John was instrumental in the formation of the Voorhees Volunteer Ambulance Squad as well as the now absorbed Voorhees Township Fire Department District #4. John was also the founder of the Boy Scouts Troop #127. He was active in the Office of Emergency Management Ham Radio Club (Delaware Valley Ragchew Club) Kc2kqv-sk.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday May 4th from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Gibbsboro, NJ.
