John W McClain, Jr.

John W. McClain Jr. (77), of Wellington, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

John was born to veterans John W. McClain Sr. and Lydia H. McClain, on March 19, 1946, in Camp Lejeune, NC and raised in Glen Moore, PA on the family farm. John graduated from Downingtown Senior High School in 1965, in Downingtown, PA.

John had many titles in his life. He delivered milk as a teen, he was a mechanic, a landscaper, a stay at home Dad, and a Mr. Fix It. But his favorite role was being an incredible father and grandfather. He loved nothing more than spending time with his adult children and most importantly his granddaughter Kaia Marie. He was always there for them. While John left us far too soon, the impact he had on his family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers will be felt for generations to come.

John is now reunited with his first born son, John "Johnny". He is survived by two other sons, Michael and Taylor and Taylor's wife Tabbetha and their daughter Kaia Marie. He is also survived by his brother Bill, his two sisters Beth and Pris and their families. His best friend and ex wife Cindy was instrumental in John's life. His family and loved ones will celebrate and honor John's life in a private family gathering.
