John McMahon III Obituary

Born February 20, 1948, Southampton Village to Lawrence and Muriel McMahon. He graduated from Southampton High School and received a BS in Criminal Justice from North Eastern University. He then spent 20 years as a Sag Harbor Village police officer; he was a Master Electrician and was an electrical inspector after retiring from the police department.
John was a 53 year member of the Sag Harbor Fire Department, Pheonix Company, serving as a Captain.
He is survived by his loving wife, Molly, his two sisters, Sheila and Pennie, 14 children along with their spouses and significant others, 27 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is joining his son, Lawrence, in eternity, who predeceased him in 2019.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the animal shelter of you choice.
A celebration of life will be held July 12th from 12-5pm at Sag Harbor Village Fire Department.
