JOHN A. "JACK" MCVANE

McVANE, John A. "Jack" Of Largo, FL, formerly of Malden, MA, died on October 2 with his loving family by his side. Jack was a member of the 82nd Airborne and was a paratrooper in the Army. Jack was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his extended family and watching the Patriots. He retired from State Street Bank and moved to Florida in 2017. Jack was the son of the late Michael McVane and Florence (MacGilvary) McVane. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Whitney) McVane; loving father of Darleen Pina and her husband Jonathan of Wareham MA, John McVane, Jr. & his wife Kim of Sterling, CT, Jill Compton & her husband Kirk of Danvers, MA, Bridgette (O'Brien) Turco & her husband Alex of Haverhill, MA, Meghan Lampert & her husband Keith of Kansas City, MO. He was also the dear brother of Judy Cunningham, Mary Lou McVane & Virginia Alexander & her husband Rick all of FL, and the late Mary Hallahan, Barbara Coulliard, Michael Joseph McVane, Theresa Moschella, Jean Fielding and Doris Doherty; the cherished grandfather to 15 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. Relatives & friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, on Monday, Oct. 10 from 2pm-6pm.
