John Joseph "Jack" Meyers, 82, of Owings, Maryland passed away October 13, 2025 at his home. He was born May 26, 1943 in Baltimore to Harry and Margaret (Sisselberger) Meyers. Jack grew up in Baltimore and graduated from Mervo Tech High School. He enjoyed a successful engineering career working for Marriott Corporation, retiring as their Chief Engineer. He was a member of St. James' Parish. Jack had a great sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and loved to tell jokes. He was down to earth and loved to have a good time. Jack was a railway system enthusiast and collector. He loved all things Baltimore, including the Orioles and Ravens. He also enjoyed listening to music.

Jack is survived by his wife Z. Kay Meyers, children Mary Meyers and her husband Thomas Briggs of Perry Hall, Anita Robin Gant and her husband Brian of Churchton, and Cheryl Christine Sichette and her husband Michael of Pasadena, grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Mathew, and Cole, great-grandchildren, Emily-Starr, Owen, and Elliott, sisters in-law Nonie Stager and her husband Joe and Stevie Dicken and her husband Ted, brother in-law Robert Stager, and nephews Richard, Kenneth, Mark, Johnny, Mike, Neal, Burke, Patrick and Paul, and his beloved dog Mollie. He was preceded in death by his son Joseph Horan, grandson Patrick Horan, sister Mary Mullins, brother in-law Glenn Mullins, niece Susan Weaver, brother Raymond, and Edward Meyers Sr., sister in-law Phyllis Meyers, nephew Edward Meyers Jr., and sister in-law Elizabeth Stager.
