John Paul Michael Cupp, age 74, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, January 13 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 12, 1949 in Toledo, OH to Paul and Leboria (Re) Cupp. John was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and the University of Toledo where he earned his bachelor's degree in education. He worked for Northcoast Financial for 20 years and before that for the Northern Ohio Investment Co. John was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was always there for his family who meant everything to him. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, both in Toledo.
John is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sharon (Fox) Cupp (married October 11, 1975); daughters, Kathleen and Carolyn Cupp; and sister, Judith (James) Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24 from 3-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The funeral service will be Thursday, January 25 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Maxey presiding. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Toledo Humane Society, the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Cancer Society. Condolences can be shared at www.sujkowski.com.
