John Moore Obituary
John was born in Griffin, Georgia on April 12, 1949. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anne Taylor Moore and Ray Moore; daughter, Tina Tanksley; and sister, Carol Stinchcomb. John was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War and was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Moore, children, Sandra Raybon, Ray Moore, Mary Ann and Steve Godwin; grandchildren, C.J., Mercedes and Gary Young, Americus Moore, Justin and Micha Higgins, Brittany and Devin White, Stephanie and Jeremy Hopper; great grandchildren, Farrah, Jordyn, Noah, Sadie, Eleanor Grace, Neveah; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jerry and Ray Bennett.
The family would like to thank Lori Beth, Tiffany and staff at Eternal Hope for all their loving care and support during his sickness and passing.
A family celebration of his live will be at a later date.
