He was born on July 1, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. John David Mullins, Sr. and Mrs. Laverne Maulden. He worked for the Austell Papermill for 30+ years until he retired. He loved working on cars or anything that you put in front of him. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Lilly Mullins; children, Robert Harris, Michael Reinhardt; sister, Darlene Gaylor.
He is survived by his children, Janeen Herlugson (Chris), Johnathon Reinhardt (Allison), and Dakota Mullins; grandchildren, Alexis Faith, Cameron Faith, Nick Faith, Logan Herlugson, Avery Herlugson, Caroline Reinhardt, Jackson Reinhardt, Max Reinhardt, Kailey Harris; great grandchild, Raven Mercer; siblings, Dewayne Mullins, Darrell Mullins, Donna Mullins, Debra Barker (Gene); other extended family and friends.
A gathering of friends will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
