John Murawski Obituary

Published by Legacy on May 29, 2025.
John David Murawski, lovingly known as Johnny, 53, of Seabrook, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1971, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Robert and Marjorie Murawski. John was a dedicated and highly skilled electrician, known for his hard work, reliability, and deep commitment to his craft. For over 15 years, he was a valued partner at Faircloth Electric, where he worked alongside his close friend and business partner, Troy Faircloth. Together, they built a respected business rooted in quality, trust, and friendship.
Outside of work, John embraced the simple joys of life. He had a deep love for smoking meat and barbecuing - his brisket and ribs were legendary among family and friends. He also had a true appreciation for a good glass of whiskey and cherished the quiet moments it brought. One of his greatest pleasures was fishing - whether casting a line from the shore or heading out on the water, John found peace and happiness in nature. These passions weren't just hobbies; they were a reflection of how he lived: relaxed, genuine, and always in the moment.
Above all else, John was a devoted father. His daughter, Shelby, was the light of his life and the center of his world. He was endlessly proud of the woman she became and never missed a chance to tell others how much he loved his baby girl. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with unconditional love - a love that will live on through her and through his cherished grandson, Logan. John had a generous heart and a quiet strength. He especially cherished time with his family and loved being a grandfather. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed working with his hands, and found constant companionship in his loyal dog, Boss. John was a true friend.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Daniel Murawski; his brother, Robert Daniel Murawski Jr.; and his best friend and faithful companion, Shamrock.
John is survived by his loving mother, Marjorie Murawski; his devoted daughter, Shelby Rodriguez, and her husband, Jordan; his beloved grandson's, Justin Garner, and Logan Rodriguez; his beautiful granddaughter's, Sadie Arredondo, and Savaya Arredondo; his sister, Lori Davidson, and her children; his brother, Scott Davidson, wife Stacy, and their children.
He will be deeply missed by his family, business partner and friend, Troy Faircloth, and by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St.Jude's or the Wounded Warrior Project in John's honor.
Raise a glass, cast a line, or fire up the smoker - and remember John with a smile.
