John D Nolan, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 10, 2023, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, NJ. Born on November 14, 1959, in Piscataway, NJ, John lived a life marked by dedication, adventure, and love.
Predeceased by his father, William Nolan, and brother, Kevin Nolan, John is survived by his devoted wife of nine years, Victoria of Keansburg; his loving mother, Ann Nolan of Piscataway; his son and daughter-in-law, David, and Kaitlyn Nolan; and his brother, Thomas Nolan of Georgia. He is also survived by his niece, Amber Nolan and a nephew, Blaze Nolan.
John graduated from Rutgers College with a bachelors degree in geology. For many years, John served as a delivery driver for UPS. His dedication, hard work, and friendly demeanor made him a well-respected figure among colleagues and customers alike. Even after retiring, John often fondly recalled his days on the road, delivering packages and sharing smiles with the many people he encountered along his routes.
John was a man of diverse interests, each reflecting his vibrant spirit and passion for life. He was an avid fan of Nascar, His love for travel took him to many places, but he was particularly fond of fishing and camping in the Pocono area. John's interest in genealogy was a testament to his deep appreciation for history and heritage. He spent countless hours tracing his family roots, taking great pride in the rich tapestry of lives and stories that formed his lineage. Bowling was a favorite pastime in his younger years, John discovered a passion for scuba diving. But of all his interests, John cherished spending time with his family the most. Whether it was a simple family dinner, a birthday celebration, or a quiet evening at home, John treasured these moments of togetherness. His love for his family was his guiding light, and his commitment to them was his greatest legacy.
John D Nolan was a man of many hats - a dedicated worker, a passionate adventurer, a loving family man. His life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and the pursuit of happiness. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life, remembering the joy, love, and laughter he brought into our lives. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and his memory will continue to inspire us to live our lives with passion, love, and a sense of adventure.
