John Nye Obituary

He is survived by children Ronald (Angela) Nye of Fostoria, David Nye of N.C.,
Tracy (Bil) Smelser of Fostoria, Shelley (Mike) Simpson of N.C.,
significant other Linda Parmelee of Findlay, 7 grandchildren,
2 great grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his parents, wife Elizabeth Nye &
sister Ruth Hubbard.
John worked at Ex-Cello & Atlas in Fostoria. He was a member of the Moose & Smokehouse in Fostoria. He enjoyed all kinds of racing, classic cars & was a fan of the Cleveland Guardians. John loved music and was a DJ for many, many years. He also loved his watches, cigars & bourbon.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 19, 2925 from 2-4 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, Fostoria, Ohio.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Local arrangements were handled by Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, Ohio.
