Janet C. Dunn, 85, of Fostoria, formerly of Forest and The Villages, Florida, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born March 28, 1940, in Rio Grande, Ohio, to Josiah & Eva (Topping) Faylor. She married John M. Dunn in 1958 and was married for 63 years until John's passing March 7, 2021.
Janet is survived by her children, Greg (Jeannie Rinckel) Dunn, Mark Dunn, Robyn (Bill) Brenner, and Susan (Blaine Hummel) Dunn; sister, Jean (Don) Luman; grandchildren Andrew Brenner, Eric (Libby) Brenner, and Joshua Greer; great-grandchildren, Beatrice and Otis Brenner.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Janet was a 1958 graduate of Bloomdale High School and attended BGSU. She retired as a teacher's aide, working at Riverdale and Fostoria Schools. She was a member of Fostoria Women's and Jack of All Trades 4-H Club and was very active in Blanchard River Church of Christ and Wesley UM Church. She was a serious bridge player working towards "Master's Status" and was director of duplicate bridge board. Janet and John spent their golden years at The Villages, Florida. She was known for loving Christmas, her family and grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be at a later date. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, West Millgrove.
Memorials can be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, Blanchard River Church of Christ or Bridge Hospice.
