John Owens Obituary
John was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on February 8, 1936 to the late Sam and Alice Owens.
He is retired from N&W Railroad in Brewster and following his retirement he drove for the Amish Community.
He is survived by his three children, Esther Hidey, John Owens, Jr. and Nancy (Wayne) Filby; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in by 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and his 11 siblings.
In keeping with John's wishes, cremation will take place. The family will have a memorial reception at the Mill Street Diner at a future date to be announced.
