John F. Pascavage, age 77, husband of Jennifer Tan Le of Trappe, PA, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Born on April 8, 1947 in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Albina (Adamavage) and Albert Pascavage.
John was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown. He honorably served in the United States Army, completing a tour in Vietnam that earned him several medals including the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
John worked as a metal fabricator at Machine Metals in Norristown and Collegeville for many years before his retirement. He was an active and beloved member of Valley Forge Baptist. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching football and his Eagles. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed biking, but most importantly, he cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by seven children, John (Kathryn) Pascavage and Josh Pascavage and their mother, Frances Pascavage, Virginia (Michael) McCartney, Kathryn (Brian Strobel) Pascavage, Diana (Steven) Yohe, and Anastasia Merrill and their mother, Diane Heidel, and Andrew Le Pascavage; 17 grandchildren; four siblings, Albert (Lillian) Pascavage, Thomas Pascavage, Sharon Proietto, Debbie (John Dawson) Strickland, and; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Erich Pascavage; and brothers, Robert Pascavage, Joseph Pascavage, Andrew Pascavage, and an infant brother Anthony Pascavage.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Valley Forge Baptist, 616 S. Trappe Road, Collegeville, PA on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Scott E. Wendal. Burial will be held privately at a later date. Friends will be received on Friday evening, January 10, 2025 from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA or on Saturday morning at the Church from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
