John Pena Obituary
John Pena was born in San Antonio, Texas to Felix and Yolanda Pena on November 16, 1963. He went to school at John Jay High School. He worked as a Painter for JP's Professional Painters, a company he ran for over 30 years. John loved to listen to music from Elvis to Augustine Ramirez. John was also a Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved to travel.
John is preceded in death by his father Felix Pena, his sister Norma Franco.
John is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife of 39 years Rosemary, his sons Nick (Marcella), Johnathan (Joslynn), Felix (Samantha), his grandchildren Ethan, Joaquin, Joslynn and Lola, his mother Yolanda Pena, his brother Augustine (Tanya), his sister Judy (Daniel), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Felix Pena, Johnathan Pena, Arthur Pina, Jesse Esquivel, Raul Pena, Eugene Aguilar
A visitation for John will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A rosary will occur Wednesday, March 13 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 S San Augustine Ave, San Antonio, TX 78237. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 14, 2024 From 12:00PM to 12:30 PM at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.

He taught me how to paint back in the 80s. We were painting houses for Sears. Later he worked for me at ADCO Roofing & Remodeling Inc. He was a good man and I will miss him. Rest in peace John.
