John Powers Perdue, 67, of Indianapolis died on March 25th, 2023. John was born December 18th, 1955 in Big Spring, Texas. John worked for many years in sales and for the last few years, as a truck driver.
He will be remembered fondly by his loving family and friends. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and tinkering with whatever he could find in his barn.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Perdue; father, Glenn Perdue; and sister, Melanie Ortiz.
John is survived by his daughter, Rachel Smith and son-in-law Jeff Smith; son John Perdue II; mother, Pauline Perdue (deceased, Glenn); brother, Eldon Perdue (deceased, Catherine); 3 grand-children, Alyiva Perdue, Eli Smith, and Cara Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 1st at Wilson St Pierre Funeral Home, 5950 E Thompson Road, at 3pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1p – 3p.

Many memories of John and his siblings in Ford Subdivision. I was their favorite babysitter and they were my best little friends. Sure sorry for his passing and praying for family. Asking God to give comfort, strength and courage. God bless you all.
