John Picarelli Obituary
Born in Paterson, John grew up in the riverside section of town before becoming a Hawthorne resident for over 60 years. A clerk for the Hawthorne post office, John had served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In his spare time, he participated in activities with the Paterson Post Office Gun Club and visited shooting ranges.
John was the beloved husband of the late Ruth Kuhn (2020). Loving father of Ruth Picarelli-Kool and her late husband Ray Kool (2021) of Hawthorne and John Picarelli and his wife Cheryl of Clifton.
Cremation will take place privately. Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne.
