John Pimenta

John Pimenta, 94, of Eatontown, formerly of Shadow Lake Village in Middletown passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025. John was born in Lisbon, Portugal to the late Antonio and Irene Pimenta. John retired as a switchman from Verizon after many years of dedicated service. John was also an avid golfer and sailor. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Maria Ilarazza, grandson, Ryan Daly, son-in-law, Richard Halvey and his beautiful wife of 71 years, Maria Santos Pimenta. John is survived by his devoted daughter, Diana Halvey of Rockaway Park, NY, son-in-law, Jose Ilarazza of Lincroft, his sister-in-law, Joanna Amaral of Freehold and his adored grandchildren; Meghan Brown, Kayla Halvey and Nicholas Halvey and great-grandchild, Calvin Brown. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 10am to noon at the John E. Day Funeral Home. 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ.
