John Robert Powell was born June 12, 1946 and joined his beloved wife the late Sandra (nee Osowski) in heaven on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Son of the late Frederick and Loretta Powell, Beloved brother of Nancy (Herman) Szeker, Michael, James, Frederick Jr. (Lydia) Mary Ann (Mark) Collins and Jean (Jeff) Massey. Loving father of Brian (Kate) and David (Rebecca), Loving Grandfather to Autumn, Isaiah, Luke Powell, Etta Mae and Arwen Elle Powell, Krissa and Donny Dickens, Aubrey Stephens, Eric Osowski Jr., and Tristan Lupika. Beloved Uncle and Great Uncle to many John was born and raised in Garfield Hts. and Brecksville. He served in the Army achieving the rank of Sergeant. He joined the family business, Daly Refrigeration, upon his return from service in the Army. His career in the business spanned four decades beginning as an apprentice with Pipefitters Local 120 and ending with his retirement in 2007 after 25 successful years running the business as co-owner with his brother Frederick, Jr. after the retirement of their father Frederick Sr. He was a member of the Hungarian Business and Tradesmen Club. After retiring he enjoyed traveling with his wife Sandra attending NASCAR races, visiting wineries, and attending grandchildren's sporting events. They were together in life and are now reunited for eternity. John will be remembered for his dedication to family and friends. John will be missed by many.
