John Daniel "Danny" Price, 54, of Zanesville, passed away on April 29, 2025, at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.
Danny was born on November 26, 1970, in Zanesville. He was the son of Jeanne Price and Dan (Diane) Price.
He is survived by his son, Zach (Katie) Price; grandsons Raige, Ryatt, and Calvin; and his sister, Robin Price, and paternal grandfather John Atkins. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie (Gage) Green, Cody Campbell, and Caden Campbell; great-nephews River Green and Parker Hrinko; great-niece Wilder Green; and his aunts and uncles, Sheila Amrine, Garry (Connie) Driggs, Rodney Driggs, Becky (Jeff) Dingey, along with many cousins and numerous friends.
Danny was a 1989 graduate of Philo High School, where he was a four-year letterman in soccer and proudly scored the final goal of the season for the Electrics. He worked at the Longaberger Basket Company and later as a supervisor at Home Depot.
Danny had a deep love for the outdoors, especially golfing and fishing. He was a loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes and cherished time spent with friends. Known for his infectious smile and friendly nature, he never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his triplets, Hannah, Allison, and Danielle; his uncle Gary Price; his aunt Mindy Price; his maternal grandparents Rodney and Margaret Driggs, and paternal grandmother Juanita Atkins.
Danny's legacy of kindness continues through his selfless gift of life as an organ and tissue donor.
Family and friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Duncan Falls Baptist Church, 240 Mill Street, Duncan Falls, Ohio. A celebration of his wonderful life will follow at 6:00 PM where we will encourage all to share any memories of Danny.
