John Douglas "Doug" Prichard, age 75, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 1, 2025.

Doug was born on January 29, 1950, in Rumson, New Jersey, to Howard Milton Prichard, Jr. and Anna Margret (Parsons) Prichard, who were long-time residents of Flippin, Arkansas.

He graduated from Flippin High School in Flippin, Arkansas, and went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the School of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he also served as Head Resident of Holcomb Hall dormitory. Doug was a member of First Christian Church in Harrison. He enjoyed traveling, snow skiing, and playing golf. He was also a devoted dog owner and supporter of animal rescue organizations. Above all, he valued staying connected with his family and friends and took great interest in their lives and accomplishments.
