John Camillo Quijano, 58, of Indianola, Iowa, passed away on April 8, 2025 at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
John was born August 29, 1966, the son of Raymond (Porky) Andres and Connie Marie (Warywoda) Quijano in Des Moines, Iowa. John attended school in the Des Moines area and graduated from Lincoln High School, the class of 1985. John was known as a handyman of all sorts. There was no task that he could not do, nor anything that he could not fix. When he was not working his normal job as a delivery driver for either King Delivery, Amazon, or Fed-Ex, he would be with his family. John loved his kids and his grandkids, visiting them often. The south side knew him by many names but "John John" was a prominent one by all. Sprint car races at Knoxville or Boone were a favorite past-time of his. He enjoyed traveling with his siblings. He will be missed for his outgoing and social spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to all who needs.
Preceding him in death was his mother: Connie and grandparents: Camillo and Rose Quijano.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Paige (Aaron) Pavlica and Kylie Robbins; grandchildren: Asher, Rylyn, Mycah and Rosalynn Pavlica; father: Raymond (Porky) Quijano; sisters: Linda McFall, Ramona "Mona" (Robert) Anderson, Janice Guessford, and Peggy Cutts; as well as many more nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date.
