John Reaves Obituary
John Henry Reaves, 75, passed away Tuesday June 29,2021 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. A native of Micanopy, FL he was graduate of Lincoln High School Class of 1964, and served as a deacon at his church Mt. Pedro Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara B. Reaves. His memory will live on in the hearts of: son; Horace Goner, Gainesville, Fl Brothers; Elijah Reaves, Alex Reaves, both of Micanopy, Fl Walter Reaves,(Johnnie Mae) Joe Reaves,(Betty) Gainesville, Fl and seven grandchildren Funeral services for Mr. Reaves will be held on Saturday, July 10,2021 at 11:00 Am at Mt. Pedro Baptist Church Micanopy, Fl Rev. Marvin McMahon Pastor Interment will follow in Mt. Pelier Cemetery Belleview Fl under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W.8th Ave Gainesville, Fl Visitation Friday July 10,2021, Chestnut Memorial Chapel 2:00-7:00 PM and on Sat at the church one hour before the service. Family members are asked to meet at the home of his brother & sister-in-law Joe & Betty Reaves 4312 SE 4th Ave Gainesville, FL at 10:00 Am to form the cortege.
