John Reilly, aged 88 passed away October 6, 2025 after a short illness. Born in Pittston, PA to Joseph and Catherine (nee Dennis) Reilly, John grew up in Colonia, NJ. John married Kathryn Keefe and raised his three children, Laura, John, and Anne in Rahway, NJ. He was a skilled electrician and a proud member of IBEW Local 675, spending many years working for Eii, Inc. before retiring first to Manahawkin, NJ and then Melbourne, FL.

John was a man of great kindness, integrity, and faith. His love of God was second only to his love of family.

John is survived by his children Laura Salmon, her husband Richard H. Salmon, Jr, his son John Reilly and his wife April Reilly and his daughter Anne Reilly. He is also survived by his dear friend Priscilla Gardiner, his brother George Reilly, sister-in-law Catherine Reilly, and his nieces and nephews especially Albert Reilly, Patricia Schneider, and Brian Reilly. He was predeceased by his wife, parents and his sister Betty and brother Joseph.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist, Viera, FL at 10 am on Tuesday October 28. Graveside services will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rahway, NJ in early November.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to St. John the Evangelist Church, 5655 Stadium Parkway, Melbourne, FL 32940. Or if you prefer, keep John's lifelong kindness alive instead. Give some money to a homeless person. Pay for the groceries for the person in front of you in line who is short of cash. Give generously to whichever good cause is standing outside the grocery store collecting funds. And think of him.
