John Edward Robinett of Thomas Township, Michigan
Beloved son, cousin, nephew, and friend passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, December 2, 2022. He was 56 years old. John Edward Robinett was born on August 2, 1966, in Westminster, California, to Edward H. and Sandra K. (Hill) Robinett. He was a proud 1985 graduate of Swan Valley High School. Following graduation, John began working for various companies throughout Saginaw. He was employed as an associate at Meijer and Jack's on Gratiot Road, and later as a delivery driver with R & M Machine Tool, The Saginaw News, and most recently, Holt Transportation. John was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Gratiot Road. He was a lucky man, especially when playing his three-digit lottery numbers and his scratch-off tickets. His little piece of heaven, and what he loved to do the most, was bowling. Above all, John loved and cherished his family and his dog, Chico. He will forever be remembered for being a happy-go-lucky man who could talk to anyone, for his selfless and kind heart, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.
Surviving are his parents: Edward and Sandra Robinett of Thomas Township; grandmother, Kathleen Robinett of Breckenridge; two aunts and an uncle: Lois (Ronald) Miller of Thomas Township; Elizabeth "Liz" Demand of Saginaw; Albert "Sonny" (Paula) Hill of Saginaw; two special cousin, Ronda Soule of Owosso; David Wolford of Saginaw; two special friends: Dan and Wally Kowalski of Thomas Township. Also surviving are many cousins, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Albert W. and Gertrude Evelyn Hill and Ole Joseph Robinett.
A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
