John Albert Rogers, Jr., age 70, formerly of Hayes, Virginia, died in Raven, Virginia, on Friday, November 29, 2024.
He was born to the late John A. and Patricia Rogers in Wheeling, West Virginia. John was an entrepreneur always looking for his next adventure. He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. and Patricia Rogers, Sr.
Survivors include siblings Roger Rogers and Victoria Rogers; stepchildren Tabatha Murrell (Charles) and David Bonneville; step-grandchildren William, Deangelo, and Ally; 2 nieces Raine and Marguerite, nephew Andrew, and best friends Marlena and Charles Billingsley.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gloucester Mathews Humane Society, PO Box 385, Gloucester, VA, 23061.
The family will receive friends during a memorial visitation from 5 to 7 p.m., on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Singleton Funeral Service.
Singleton Funeral Service, Cedar Bluff, Virginia, is serving the family of Mr. Rogers.
