John Thomas "Johnny" Rummell II

John Thomas Rummell, 71, of Portland, Oregon, passed away October 1, 2024. Born in Ogdensburg, New York on September 29, 1953 to John and Evelyn Rummell (Montroy), he was affectionately known as Johnny to his family and friends. John served in the Navy during the Vietnam War era in his younger years. He also worked most of his life in the logging industry. He loved fishing and no matter where his travels led him, he always considered Oregon home. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his two daughters Melissa and Jessica, his son Patrick, his 5 sisters Imelda Venton (Roger), Jeretta Boren (Homer), Maryanne Promisco, Helen Miller (Charles), Lorraine Moss, his brother James Rummell (Sherry), several grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
